Everything Wool

Wool is easy to dye and you can get some pretty amazing colors from even simple household products. KoolAid creates some beautiful colors on wool and simple and easy enough that even kids can do it (with supervision!). You can even use the sun to help KoolAid dye your wool. Just put the KoolAid dye solution on the wool, put it in a plastic bag, then let it sit in the sun for a few hours until the heat sets the dye. You’ll know the color is set when the water becomes almost clear as the color sets into the wool. Kool Aid dying is not the most color fast way to dye wool, but the colors will stay nice for a long time.
